This is something that you can do. You will have the body that you are willing to have. If you’re willing to have a crappy body, then you’re going to have a crappy body. If you’re willing to have a great body then it’s possible for you to have a great one.  You just have to put in the work.

How to start transforming your body in 3 steps:

Step One: Say “Enough is enough!”

You have to decide that you can’t stand another day in your “flabtastic” body. Get pissed!

Step Two: Create your ideal body in your mind

You can’t build a house without a blueprint and you can’t take a journey to destination without a map. Set an idea in your mind about how you want your body to look. You can also use photos from magazines, or old photos of yourself. Energy follows thought. Be realistic.

Create specific goals. Like to lose 20lbs in 8 weeks.

Step Three: Take Massive Action

Don’t spend too much time formulating a perfect plan!  Get moving, take action, do not stop! Things will get in the way, you just keep driving through. Our trainers can help with any of those goals. We build a training regimen around what you want and don’t impose any agenda on you. We offer training on an individual one-on-basis or semi-privately in our base gyms. Our skilled and experienced certified personal trainers can also work with you in your own home gym.

Assessing your body type: In his 1954 book, Atlas of Men, American psychologist William Sheldon described three basic human body types based on the inherent distribution of muscle, bone and fat. His terminology of body types is still used today.

The ectomorph has a fragile muscle and bone structure. Limbs are relatively long and shoulders tend to droop. Sheldon considered ectomorphs to be ruled by nerves and to tend toward mental rather than physical activity. Ectomorphs are not naturally strong and have to work especially hard to develop firm muscles and a visibly strong-looking physique.

The mesomorph is the body type dominated by muscle. They have visibly large muscle and bone structures. Sheldon considered the mesomorph to be action-oriented people. Muscles enlarge easily even in hands, arms and legs.

The endomorph is relatively round and soft. These are people who are conventionally judged as “fat.” They give the impression that the bottom of the body, the gut and abdomen appear to dominate. Many endomorphs will tend to seek weight loss solutions.

Jason’s a really great trainer. I do the virtual personal training program because I know form, I just don’t have the knowledge to build my own plan. Jason’s always been very responsive whenever I have questions. He doesn’t give you a cookie-cutter plan; I have a few physical limitations and my gym doesn’t have the widest variety of equipment and he was very understanding and helped find the right exercise substitutions. I found the diet plan really helpful because it’s flexible enough where I can try different foods, but specific enough about how much and when to eat so I actually see results. Be clear with your goals and stick to what he says and you’ll definitely be happy with where you are in just a few months.

I live in Chicago so I used Jason's online personal training. It was a great experience especially for the price. He would monitor my workouts each week and let me know if I should be able to go heavier on an exercise based on everything else I was doing. He'd also review my recorded diet and tell me where to tweak things. He was also good about reminding me to update my weight and progress pics, and he'd adjust the workouts or diet based on that. He was honest about how much weight/muscle I should expect to gain and didn't try to make huge promises just to get business.
