Now think about how you feel when you eat a leafy green salad packed with vegetables and protein. You may feel pleasantly full, but certainly not sluggish or sleepy. In fact, you probably feel pretty energetic and productive. Now think about how you’d feel if you ate like that for every meal of the day. Is this starting to make sense?
2. Second things second, are you drinking enough water? I can’t say it enough. Water is the key to life for nearly every living organism on the planet. And, it’s huge in keeping your metabolism working at its best. 3. Third, but not certainly not last, are you getting enough sleep? Why is this a key to your metabolic health? Well, your body and mind need to rest in order to recover from the day’s activities. It’s the part of the day when your body regenerates cells, which helps you build muscles, collagen, proteins, skin and pretty much everything else.
