In a panic over an upcoming trip to Cancun I started training with Jason. Now, 7 weeks later, I am amazed at how quickly the weight, and more importantly, the inches have come off. Jason knows how to focus on those "problem areas" as well as getting the whole body balanced and toned. I have trouble with my knees and lower back and Jason was always sure to modify exercises and be mindful of not aggravating old injuries. I feel fit, strong and finally comfortable in my own body. The 8 week training I received was incredible! Through the program I received a meal program that taught me healthy eating habits to gain weight the right way. My starting weight was 147 lbs. and by the end of the 8 weeks I weighed 160 lbs. Because I learned how to train with proper form, I saw an increase in my bench weight from 175 lbs to 225 lbs. You stayed intuned to how my body was reacting to the program you designed and made adjustments when needed, as you did on 4 separate occasions during the course of my 8 weeks of training. The numbers really say it all as I lost 9 lbs., my waist went from 35" to 32", and my BF went from 15% to 4.9%. Jason really customized the program to me. I had worked out with other people who just gave me the same blah-blah they give everyone else, and then stood there during the workout, bored, just counting reps. Jason worked with me to design a workout that would not only NOT aggravate old injuries (bad back, chronic knee and ankle problems, etc.), but in fact has helped reduce the symptoms of the past injuries (one of which was even caused by another, "Brand-X" trainer -- beware of all those guys out there who don't know what they're doing!). Jason maintains high energy and motivational talk during the workout, so when I exercise on my own I can picture what Jason would say to me, and that keeps me going.
Jason also makes very sure that I know EXACTLY how the exercise is done properly, so I can do it right and get the maximum benefit from each rep. I've never had next-day aching or soreness in training with Jason, even though the workouts are tough enough to make me sweat a TON each session!
Jason gave me the exercises I need to make my body look the way I want it to look, and very quickly. I went from a size 11 to a size 5 in about 4 months, with a loss of 20 pounds of fat (including getting rid of some really ugly "saddlebags" on my thighs) and a gain of a lot of hot-looking muscle!
Then, a year later, when I had had a little too much food fun in the form of holiday eating, Jason got me back to those size 5s in just over one month -- WOW!

When I came to Jason I had no clue where to begin. I knew I wanted to start competing in Fitness Competitions but did not know how to get the results I desired. At the beginning of my program I was at 23.1% body fat. Most competitors compete between 10% and 15%. Not to mention I only had 12 weeks to prepare. Now don't get me wrong I have always been an active person and ate fairly well for a normal person, but we all know that fitness competitors are far from "normal".
Jason evaluated my goals and and sent me a very easy to follow diet and exercise plan. He gave me a list of good, acceptable foods and let me know what I needed to eat when. The best part was how easy it was to follow. I didn't have to worry about counting calories or grams of protein or anything like that. Every week I turned in my diary and Jason let me know what I needed to change. It's a lot harder to cheat on your diet when you know you're going to be caught.

I've had an opportunity to train with 5 different trainers across the country, in Washington D.C., New York, Denver and Los Angeles, and let me honestly tell you, it's only since I've worked with Jason that I've seen this tremendous progress. Before contacting Jason Kozma, I had a consultation with a plactic surgeon about getting liposuction. The quote was rather high and I came to the conclusion that if I had the surgery, I might become thinner, but I would still feel the same blah attitude I had come to accept as normal. I decided to sweat off the pounds and build muscle.
Fast forward to six months later.
I had, indeed, sweated off about 20 pounds (kind of hard to say if that is the exact number of fat pounds I lost since I was doing a rather rigorous muscle training routine.) I lost 4 inches from my waist. My arms went from 11.5 inches to about 15.5 inches. My quads are pushing 22 inches. My abs are on the verge of popping out. I decided to go clubbing on July 4th and show off a little of my new body. I wore a very flattering muscle shirt and a pair of jeans. While I was on the dance floor, I turned around and to my surprise, the plastic surgeon I had the consultation with so many months before was dancing behind me. I said hello and then realized it clicked in his mind who I was. He proceeded to tell me he was sorry I didn't choose him for my surgery. I was flabbergasted. He thought I had actually underwent surgery. I cannot even explain how flattered I was. I proceeded to tell him I had not had the surgery, but hired a trainer and nutritionist instead. He leaned in closer and said, "That's the best way to do it."
So, forget plastic surgery. I'd rather be buff and lean than just thin and sucked out. I'll take a trainer any day.

Thanks Jason. I’ve been very happy with your on-line training program. I have been looking for awhile for a program to get back into shape after years of working at a desk job. I have always been into sports and have a fair amount of fitness knowledge, but have never been able to put together an effective program on my own. The personal trainers at the gyms also didn’t have the knowledge to get the type of results that I and most other people are looking for.
I lost about 25 lbs in 12 weeks on your program and got down to 5% body fat at age 40. My waist went from 34.5" to 28.5". Your knowledge of diet and how it affects the body is phenomenal. What I learned will have a lasting impact on the way I eat in the future. The only regret is that I did not have the opportunity to work out with you personally. I am sure there is a lot more I can learn from you.
Even after following a fairly demanding fat loss program for 12 weeks, five days later after you changed the diet I went on to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro with no problem. I felt fine the wholeChad on Mt. Kiliminjaro way and had plenty of energy.

Jason is an excellent Trainer! I would recommend him for and sports or any physically related goal. I came to Jason to increase my speed and body shape. I compete in half marathons and shorter distance races. I am a sponsored athlete, and my career relies on appearance and performance. Speed and looking good is very important to me. Jason designed me a diet and exercise program to help trim me up and improve my running. He also provides something that was that made all the right information work, and that was more motivation and focus on my goals. Working with Jason on a weekly basis kept me very focus and motivated. I live in Riverside (1:30 min drive from LA) so most of what we did was over the internet through email. I was able to contact him for questions and feedback on my routine and progress several times a week. Also, I would drive to LA 1-2 times per month to see Jason.
In 8 weeks of working with Jason I dropped 14lbs. My shorts size went from a size small to an extra small that needed to be hemmed in 2 inches. Before I knew it, I had done it. It was a snap. I didn't consider until later, that I could never had done that without training with you. My body responded great.

Training with Jason has taught me not just what exercises to do but how to make sure I do them correctly. He not only makes sure that you are on the correct overall workout, but he also knows the small details, such as grip and stance, that can make a big difference. I was starting to train for my 5th attempt on Mt. Rainier, and realized that, in order to succeed, I needed to improve my training method; so I decided to get help.
After reviewing a number of different physical training programs, Jason's appeared to make the most sense. He put me on track with the right diet, cardiovascular schedule and weight training program. I was assigned to Nicholas Barrett, a knowledgeable, thorough, and careful full-time trainer.
I trained with Nicholas three times per week; and with that, the cardio and the diet, it was very intense. But then, so is mountain climbing.
In just two months, I had lost 20 lbs and felt ready for Rainier. It was time to go to the mountain. The climb was extremely hard and I thought about turning back many times. After 10,000 vertical feet of snow, ice and crevasses, I finally stepped onto the 14,410' summit of Mt. Rainier. I was victorious! I know that if it hadn't been for Jason's program, I never would have made it to the top. His program had made the difference.

Jason, congratulations to you on your win at the Mr. America! I have not spoken to you since Heather Lake & her husband referred me.... I have stuck to your plan and have lost a total of 22 pounds and working out at Gold's here in Nashville. I am 5'7" (almost 5'8" and weight 139) and in a size 5-6 (down from a size 12 & 162 lbs). I have reached my goal!! My clothes fit great and I continue to keep toning.

Jason : My energy level was very good throughout the week. My workout recovery continues to improve dramatically every week. My cholesterol was 189 4 months ago. It is now 146. My blood pressure was 122/84 four month ago. It is now 112/64. My resting heart rate was 75 4 months ago. It is now 51. I'm getting closer to seeing my AB muscles. My waistline is about 30 and will probably end up about 28 to 29 before I see what's under the fat.

I could tell you how many inches I’ve lost (2.5), or I could tell you how many pounds of fat I melted off myself (16), but there are more important things to discuss here.
More than releasing me from flab, this diet practically released me from an addiction to food. I had bad eating habits as a kid, as a teenager, and later, a college student. Though they did improve a bit throughout the years they were never stellar, and I kept wondering why all my effort in the gym didn’t yield the desired results.
One Jason Kozma later the answer was obvious. Once I got on this program I realized how much I craved all those pieces of pizza, all that ice cream and chips and soda and crap that I will only enjoy IN MODERATION anymore.
I was surprised how much I lost and how quickly I lost it, but more than that I was surprised at how much diet determines how you look, and how far off the right kind of dieting I was doing. At first I envied my fellow students because they were eating whatever they wanted, but now (and this is the most awesome thing I’m coming away with) I look at what they’re eating and I’m not even tempted. BWAHAHAHAHA!

Jason delivers! I had always wanted to get in good enough shape to show off, that was my goal. At the age of 53, with the support and encouragement of Jason, I entered the master's division of the Venice Body Building Classic, ...and won! Jason coached me for three months in my diet, and exercise regimen and supervised my workouts two days a week. He helped me get in phenomenal shape and gave me the confidence to get up on stage and strut my stuff! Jason lives what he teaches. When my neighbor Paulette recommended you as her personal trainer, I was turned off by my previous experience with a trainer I had in the recent past. She had thin legs and had me do her own workout consisting of thigh building exercises which were only further thickening my legs.
